Public review I’ve stayed at many great Airbnb’s around the globe, and this villa stands apart for me and takes the cake as my favorite place I’ve ever stayed. I’m convinced there’s not a better place to stay in coral bay; the place is exactly as it looks in the photos. It has modern accommodations and all the conveniences one could want (most notably a water filter so you can drink the tap water at the Villa), and an incredible deck with the best of views. Ive never had such an accommodating, thoughtful, and well communicating host. My partner and I refuse stay anywhere else when visiting the USVI, and trust me when I say that as I’ve stayed at Sally’s Vista three times in the last 8 months!

Public review This is the paradise! My husband and I stay for a couple of days for our honeymoon. We couldn’t ask for a better place. The house is absolutely stunning with everything we need. It’s well equipped and so comfy. The view is wonderful. We have stayed in so many beautiful Airbnb houses, ocean and mountains, nothing compares to the house Sally and John built. Sally is a wonderful host. She’s so thoughtful. She has great communication and very detailed instructions on how to get to the house. This is definitely the highlight of our honeymoon. Public review Hands down, best place to enjoy a most needed vacation and honeymoon. Sally and John were great hosts. My wife is a germaphobe so the first thing we do when we go to a new place, it’s start cleaning and sanitizing. Sally’s cottage was clean to the touch. The view is out of this world, the garden it’s also amazing and well kept. Can’t thank Sally and John enough for the beautiful memories my wife and I made on Saint John.
Public review This stay met every expectation for us. The apartment was exceptional and the views were as advertised and more. We even spent our evenings star gazing on the balcony! The apartment was very clean and many everyday items which are not feasible to pack were provided including olive oil and various seasonings needed for cooking. The shower had all the necessary shampoos and body washes. There was also a first aid kit in the bathroom along with aloe vera which I needed for the sunburn I received at The Limeout. Beach chairs, towels were also provided. The check-in process was simple and Sally maintained casual communications with us throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. All in all, this was a stay we enjoyed and we plan to make a return visit at some point in the future.

IMPORTANT TO PRINT/SNAPSHOT THESE WRITTEN DIRECTIONS to reach the correct location (at least your first time as you’ll likely lose cell phone signal on island, so you have something in hand). GPS 18.341276, -64.72144. Google/Waze, Vista Bahia St John. St. John does not have standardized addresses or mail service to reach most villas on island, therefore there isn’t a “street address” to provide you.

·     A landscaper may come Saturdays.

·     Ferry info (by car or by foot).

• Once off the ferry to St. John, proceed to the only TRAFFIC CIRCLE IN CRUZ BAY.

• Head UPHILL on Route 10/Centerline Road (You will see a yellow building called “Dolphin Market” on left as you head up the STEEP HILL for Route 10).

• Follow Rt. 10 for about 8 miles on CENTERLINE RD/RT 10/GERDA MARSH HWY all the way to Coral Bay/bottom base of Coral Bay/sign at the fork in the road. (if you see a sign for Route 108 before 8 miles, do not take that).

• Make a RIGHT ONTO ROUTE 107 and immediately pass a small pink restaurant, called “Ekaete Pink Corner”. Continue down the road a short way, passing trash dumpsters on your left.

• Make a RIGHT ONTO ROUTE 108 (there is a sign on left side of road before the turn). You will head uphill and see a green sign that reads “Calvert Marsh Road”. (Note: you have missed the turn if you see Dolphin Market of Coral Bay. Also, do not go down the road where Love City Market is – wrong road).

• Head UPWARD ON THE HILL about .4 mile (Four-tenths of a mile) up the mountain where Rt. 108 intersects another road.

• LOOK FOR A SMALL GRAVEL PARKING AREA with Peach and Pink Railing = LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD IS YOUR PARKING SPOT (shown as Photo 1 below). Go SLOW AS YOU ENTER THE PARKING. A sign for “Vista Bahia” will be on post in our parking area. Another indication you’re in the right spot is the intersecting road across from our parking area. If you are coming at night, look for lighted lamp posts on our parking railing.

PARK IN SPACE 2. You get use of this parking space only. Be sure to leave parking for other vehicles (shown in photo).

• Once parked, walk through the latched gate next to the Vista Bahia sign. KEEP GATE CLOSED AND LATCHED at all times to keep out goats, donkeys, etc.

• Proceed down the exterior stairs to the SECOND door, painted a PEACH color (there will also be a “2” on door frame).

•  Place used towels in hamper.

•  Wash kitchenware.

•  Trash and opened food & drink with you (condiments are ok), and drive it to the dumpsters located on right as you head to Cruz Bay. There is no trash service on island so it is important to take it with you. Do not leave personal items like snorkels, floats, books that you may have brought with you.

•  Please send a text message to your Host that you have checked out – so that cleaners can begin as soon as possible.
